Malcolm Hart (Director, Office for Youth, ACBC)


Malcolm Hart is the Director of the Office for Youth with the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference and recently appointed Consultor to the Vatican Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life. Malcolm has over 25 years of experience of working with young people in the Church in Australia with a passion for accompanying young people into leadership. He is the Director of the Australian Catholic Youth Festival which in 2017 hosted over 21,000 participants and has accompanied thousands of Australian pilgrims to nine international World Youth Days over 20 years.

Malcolm is an author and presenter at national and international conference on young people. Growing up in the Bunbury Diocese, Malcolm now lives in Brisbane and is married with three daughters.
